You create a database within your Cpanel (SERVER tab > MySQL Databases). You also create your SQL user(s) and password(s) in the same panel.

If you are creating a nuke site or forum (or other instant script) via the Fantastico tab, all SQL user, database and pass info is automatically created.

Are you trying to make a PHP site from scratch?

If someone wants to check it out if anyone at infojunky has access to my site, when I auto-install php-nuke through the Fant. tab, it doenst work correctly...some of the admin links in the menu dont work (i get an acces denied) . I have about 5 warnings on my forums, and I cant add, edit or delete content, nor polls. My website is www.uhh-clan.infojunky.net, but im using html at the moment. If somone wants to take a look at it, just install the PHP-nuke to a subdirectory called "php".

(i.e. www.uhh-clan.infojunky.net/php/)

Thanks, I reaally got this websit for two reasons one to use PHP, (thats the MAIN reason) and secondly, if I didnt understand it, I wasnted to at least have CGI support to process forms and counters and such.

Help Appreciated, Thank you for all the quick responces throughout my infojunky quest!

We setup a test Nuke install into www.uhh-clan.infojunky.net/php and it looks fine. Activated the forum module, setup a test forum topic, all without errors.

A copy of the install details has been forwarded to you. If you still have problems, please stop, and open a ticket at http://helpdesk.infojunky.net with details of what you were doing, and any URLs where the errors are showing up. This way we can see it in action, and should have a better chance of catching it.

Oh my God I screwed up my SITE!!! HELP

I installed a faulty theme or something, and If someone knows how to fix it please feel free to go in there and fix it!

Details:

I installed a faulty theme, and I got a fatal error, so I uplaoded the main php files (mainfile.php,index.php,header.php,config.php) But the config.php is not configured correctly for jef3189_nuke 2 database. I dont know what to put for some of the fields. If someone could help that would be great. I dont know what else it changes when you edit a theme, but I it changes anything else, i guess that would have to be changed.

Is there a way to fix is without redoing the WHOLE site?!
